Why have One-to-One Premium Classes?

One-to-one Premium Classes at Apex Education offers:

1. More individualised attention so that our teacher identifies clearly the strengths and weaknesses of students, their learning style and learning pace so that lessons can be tailored towards the students' needs. We can also then cover exactly the same topics the student's classes in school is covering!

2. Greater flexibility in terms of class schedule. We are able to accept re-scheduling at no cost as long as reasonable notice is provided.

3. Less peer pressure on students who may be more quiet and reserved. Students may be more willing to volunteer their answers and raise questions when they are unsure.

4. Greater convenience for parents and students as our teachers can travel right to your door-step.

5. The greatest improvement in grades in the shortest span of time, despite the higher cost, as our teachers' efforts are focussed on the individual student.

What Do We Teach?

Science

We provide classes for Secondary Physics, Chemistry and Biology. We also offer classes for Junior College H1 and H2 Physics and Chemistry. Our classes are fun and engaging and most importantly, exam-focussed as we expose students to commonly-tested concepts.

Math

We provide classes for Secondary 1-4 Elementary Maths and Additional Maths, Junior College Year 1 and 2 H1 and H2 Math, and Integrated Programme (IP) Year 1-6 Math. Our math classes are distinguished as they are clear and concise. We also provide help for H2 Further Mathematics.

GP & English

We provide classes for H1 General Paper (GP) at the JC level and Sec 1-4 English Language (including Integrated Programme (IP) English). Our classes cover extensively current affairs so that students are more worldly and can have more to write or speak about.

Tertiary Subjects

We provide help for various tertiary level subjects at the University and Polytechnic level including Engineering Math, Biology, Biochemistry, Law, Chemistry and Accounting. Just contact us to arrange a one-to-one no obligations consultation.

Location

Lessons can be conducted at Grandeur Park Residences or our tutors can travel to your doorstep!

Schedule

Just let us know when you prefer to have classes and we will arrange based on our teachers' availability and your availability.

Fees

One-to-one tuition fees depend on our tutor, the level of study of the student and whether classes are held at your residence or at Grandeur Park. For JC classes, our rate for one-to-one rate starts from $60/hour. For Secondary classes, our rate starts from $50/hour. For tertiary subjects, our rate starts at $100/hour. You can choose from MOE-qualified tutors, including ex-HODs, to graduate tutors.

Once lessons are confirmed, there is a one-time deposit equivalent to the fee for two lessons which will be refunded to you in full when the student graduates or when the tuition lessons stop. Simply provide us with 2 weeks' advance notice if you wish to stop the tuition lessons for any reason.

Making Payment

We only accept payment via Internet Banking Transfer, PayNow or PayLah. A soft-copy receipt will be sent to your WhatsApp or Email Address.If you prefer a hard copy, please request and we will pass to the student on the first lesson of the month.
